Ellen Hill is currently serving as the National Security Advisor. She, formerly, was the first chairwoman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and was a military ally of Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord, often bonding over the difficulties of being a women in a high position of power. In regards to her judgement on how to respond to international crises and international affairs, Hill was often in favor of military action, but in some cases, partnered with Secretary McCord to make the case of diplomatic action in the place of military action to President Dalton.
